River Thames Boat Project

The River Thames Boat Project is a registered charity that gives people of all ages the chance to access the Thames, to discover this fascinating river, and to learn more about its environment. Relying mainly on grants and voluntary donations, we offer heavily subsidised voyages tailored to the needs and interests of children and adults with disabilities, community organisations, schools and adult education colleges, as well as individuals who are not part of any group.Thames Venturer is a specially converted Dutch barge with a large upper deck offering superb views of the Thames and passing scenery. It has a spacious saloon with a galley able to provide hot and cold meals and drinks, and sleeping accommodation for up to ten passengers and four crew. A lift provides access from the main deck to the saloon for those who cannot manage the stairs, and there are two toilets and showers accessible to wheelchair users.
